Q3050i 5.1 Speaker Package: A Stereo and Home Cinema Marvel
The Q3050i 5.1 speaker package, comprising Q3050i floorstanding speakers, Q 3010i bookshelf speakers, Q 3090Ci centre speaker, and a Q 3060 subwoofer, is an ideal choice for those who prefer floorstanding speakers for stereo listening. Optionally, closely matched Q Acoustics In-ceiling and surface-mount speakers can be purchased separately to enhance multi-channel sound through Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Precision Mid/Bass Driver
The cone of each 3000i model is precision-formed from impregnated and coated paper, coupled with a newly developed, low-hysteresis, rubber surround. This combination ensures an optimal balance between stiffness and self-damping, allowing for accurate acceleration without flexing and precise stopping without unwanted resonances.
HPE Technology for Reduced Cabinet Resonance
The Q 3050i floorstanding speakers feature HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology, designed to convert pressure to velocity and reduce the overall pressure gradient within the speaker enclosure. Particularly effective for taller loudspeakers prone to resonating at specific frequencies.
Versatile Mounting Options
Dedicated 3000FSi speaker stands and 3000WB wall brackets are available separately for the 3010i rear speakers. The wall brackets offer tilt and turn capability, while the specifically designed speaker stands provide stability by bolting to the bottom of the 3010i speakers.
Point To Point Bracing for Enhanced Rigidity
Q Acoustics P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing is applied across the 3000i series, supporting parts of the enclosure that require stiffening. This results in exceptionally rigid enclosures, improving stereo image focus and soundstage accuracy.
Isolated High-Frequency Driver
3000i Series tweeters are decoupled from the baffle via a compliant suspension system. This isolation prevents vibrations from the woofer, allowing the tweeter to perform with dramatically reduced interference.
Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Compatibility
For an enhanced multi-channel sound experience, additional Q Acoustics In-ceiling speakers can be purchased. This feature requires an AV receiver with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X capabilities.
