Input Section: Crafted with precision, the I15 Prisma MK2 utilizes relay-based input circuitry, offering superior isolation and sound quality compared to conventional CMOS switches. It features a meticulously selected 2 x 4 channel balanced mode volume control IC, ensuring optimal channel balance and performance even at low listening levels.
Amplification: Employing a specially crafted Hypex UCD102 amplifier module and a custom heavy-duty switch-mode power supply, the I15 Prisma delivers dynamic and detailed sound. This innovative design offers balanced and coherent sound quality at an accessible price point.
Digital to Analog Conversion (DAC): The I15 Prisma MK2 utilises the high-performance 32-bit stereo ESS ES9028Q2M reference DAC chipset, incorporating ESS's patented 32-bit HyperStream technology. With capabilities reaching up to 384kHz PCM and 256/11.2MHz DSD, it achieves exceptional DNR and THD+N levels, meeting the most discerning audio enthusiast's demands.
