The Mission LX 2 MKII is a compact bookshelf/stand mount speaker, an upgraded version of the previous MK1 model, incorporating advanced technologies from Mission’s successful QX and ZX ranges. Slightly larger than the LX1 MkII, it offers extra power while remaining budget-friendly.
Innovative IDG Driver Design
Mission's IDG driver design positions the tweeter and woofer 'upside down', maintaining high frequencies at head height for desktop listening. The redesigned tweeter features a neodymium magnet, maximizing magnetic force in a compact space, and a 25mm microfibre dome for its lightweight and consistent performance, delivering clear and detailed highs.
Enhancements in LX MKII
The LX2-MKII's notable upgrade lies in its advanced driver surrounds and crossover technology, borrowed from the successful QX and high-end ZX ranges. Employing 'comb-tooth' serrations in the driver surrounds minimizes interfering reflections from local surfaces to the mid/bass cones, providing a smoother frequency response compared to the previous LX2 MKII, ensuring an improved listening experience.
